Which dustbuster do you have/recommend?
They always seem to die on me so I haven't owned one in around 10 years but I do often find myself wishing for one.
Which should I get?

We have this black & Decker one:
Black & Decker hand vac
It works really well - I would definitely recommend it

How long have you both owned it?
All the dust busters I have owned have died after a year or 2.

We have the Dyson Handheld. Its works great and we've put that thing through hell. Its going on 5 years strong!

All the dust busters I have owned have died after a year or 2.
I think we've had it for a little over 3 years, but not really sure. Actually, RIGHT after we bought it, DH dropped it down the basement stairs  and I thought it was a lost cause, but I was able to glue the cover piece back together and it's been great. We picked that one because it had one of the strongest motors of the ones we were looking at. We've had other ones that never seemed to do anything, but this one really does a good job.
