Edited Microwave drawer?

Is the microwave "drawer" really worth it? I feel like it's just for the look and is going to be a PIA once the newness of it wears off.

Anyone have it and love it or hate it?

The cost was not worth it to us. We went with a built in which made sense as we have a built in kurig right below. Not that I'm looking for a big microwave, the drawers seem small when we checked them out.

I love ours! I love having a decorative hood over our cooktop -- looks way nicer IMO, and I love having a more powerful hood and built in light compared with our old microwave vent.

Also, I love the microwave drawer! I am 5'4" and love looking down into the microwave and its so much more functional. My only complaint is I want to bump it closed with my hip and our model you cant do that.

After wavering we splurged on the jennair microwave drawer which is flush and nicer looking than the other model (forgot the brand) and which matched our other jennair appliances. Not sure if that was really necessary but it does look really nice! I have no regrets about the microwave drawer!
