Splenda When Pregnant?
NOT pregnant, but TTC and that board is pretty quiet...
I know I will have to cut back on caffeine and ( ) my beloved diet soda, but what about beverages with Splenda?

Everything in moderation. I didn't use Splenda during my first pregnancy, but I drank it in my coffee (also gave up coffee entirely my first pregnancy) during my second pregnancy.

I cut back to 1.5 cups of coffee a day over the course of the past year (I used to drink 4 cups!!) and my OB says thats an ok amount for me, but I should ditch the soda.
There is, however, a type of diet soda made with splenda called "Waist Watchers" which I'd love to make the switch to (in moderation - like, with dinner)

Splenda When Pregnant?
I had GD with my first preganancy and used splenda in my tea and decaf coffee, I was fine. I use it with this one too.

I mean, it's chemicals so if you can use the Stevia packets if possible it's much better. If you don't use 10 packets every time you drink something that you'd want then i'm sure it's fine.

Splenda When Pregnant?
I don't use Splenda but if I did, I'd continue to use it while ttc and pregnant.
I also never stopped drinking diet coke. A 2 liter bottle is just over the 200mg limit of caffeine allowed per day and I doubt you drink a 2 liter bottle's worth a day!
I had a large iced macchiato today. Probably done with caffeine for the day but totally necessary after the morning I had lol.

I cut back a bit. Like if I have unsweetened iced tea ill have one glass with splenda. Second glass without (if I have a second). I still us it though and Dr. said its ok in moderation.

Splenda When Pregnant?
I tried my best to avoid artificial sweeteners when possible and use real sugar, but definitely still had some throughout my entire pregnancy. DD is perfectly healthy!

I stopped all artificial sweeteners in my first pregnancy and this one. Just my own personal thing.
