Solar panel updating recommendation please :)

we bought our home with two old solar panels on them. The previous owners told us nothing and are not sure if they worked. I want to have them looked at but I'm not sure who to get. They must have been bought by the original owners, we are the third..,


Any recommendatiims of a company that can come and look at them and make sure they are running up to par ?


And does anyone know if I would get a tax break for having solar panels but no paperwork for it? Just curious....

SunNation does inspections.
The tax rebate is for new purcahses, and you definitely need paperwork, since it has to be done by certified installers, not just any electrician.

Are they electric panels, or hot water panels. SunNation does both types, but there is a difference in cost, installation, updating, etc.
