chandelier help from the decorators out there!
Want to buy this: http://www.wayfair.com/Thomas-Lighting-Tahoe-5-Light-Chandelier-SL8015-63-TL3167.html
and can't decide which color to get (nickel or bronze). My dining room set is all dark furniture, so I'm leaning more towards the bronze light fixture, but idk that'll be too brown for one room.
Help!

Do you have a picture of your dining room that would help more. Like what color are the walls and such? My first instinct was the bronze but I think a nickel would be a nice contrast IMO but I like very bold things

i totally mix metals in all of my rooms. but if the dining set is dark, i'd go with the bronze and mix metals elsewhere.

I like the Nickel to brighten it up since your furniture is dark. We have that in our dining room - dark wood with a silver colored chandelier. Our walls are beige though.

I like the nickle better. but do you have any other hard ware in the room ( knobs, handles, electrical plates) to match it with.

Re: chandelier help from the decorators out there!
The tones of the bronze set may work really well with your dark wood furniture. If you want to avoid the room reading as too brown with the bronze fixture and your wood, you can lighten things up by repeating the white from the shades of the fixture throughout the space. (think white picture frames or ones with large white mats, light, bright table linens, slipcovers for your chairs or white candleholders/candles.)
If you go for the the brushed nickel finish, it can modernize the space a bit and offer a chic contrast. Just be sure to repeat that tone or finish elsewhere in the room (think candle holders, a mirror, picture frames, etc.)
I've attached a picture of rooms I found doing a quick Pinterest search which illustrate each idea I mentioned. Good luck and post pictures! Image Attachment(s):
