DH is quitting tobacco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My birthday is in late august and DH is quitting his GROSS and unhealthy habit of "dipping" tobacco!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy I could break into song (and NO ONE wants me to do that!)

Over the last 2 years DH has really been getting into having a healthy diet and lifestyle and has been cutting down on this. . . and now that we are TTC he wants to stop for good. He's already started substituting tobacco with mint leaves and has spoken with his doctor about the best way to quit. Come August 24th - NO MORE!!!!!!!

He said he's wanted to quit for a while, but the idea of having a child was the push he needed to finally cut it out of his life.

That's great! My DH dips too. I am so afraid of him getting one of the horrible cancers associated with chewing tobacco. to your DH.

I'm not sure about dipping but I do know that smoking leads to poor motility in sperm.

Quitting smoking is one of the most important things in trying to increase ones chances TTC.

Thanks! His getting cancer is one of my biggest fears. Did your DH play college baseball? Mine got hooked on it playing ball in college.
