New Fertility Treatment Removes Age as Factor!
I am so confident that Ovascience's new treatments will revolutionize the way infertility is treated around the world. They are calling this the best breakthrough since IVF was created in the 70s.
I have read the research that was presented and it is impressive. Babies are already being born who are the result of the treatment.

I saw a special about this on Tv. Cost was double of IVF and still no guarantee
It's a great breakthrough. That's for sure. But the cost is astronomical.

Yeah but the success rate is so much higher than traditional IVF it warrants the cost. Also, I'm sure as the procedure is replicated the cost will decrease.

That would be he hope but I highly doubt it. IVF has been around since the 70's. Cost is still unattainable for many unless you have insurance to cover most. For us, our IVF would have run us close to $26k because of max dose Meds for 2 weeks. Luckily I had all of my Meds donated to me. So for me, this new procedure would be over $50k. I'm sorry. Unless I'm told it's 100% , I couldn't do it. And wouldn't. Better chances of building a family through adoption for that kind of money.
For people w unlimited funds, this is a godsend. For the rest of us... It's a step in right direction.

If i ever gave it another go...... My Dr. at SIRM actually told me that in ten years from now they would have the solution to my "problem"....i think its great.
