Acupuncturist Referral TTC PCOS
DH and I (36 & 38) just had our first consultation with a RE yesterday. My diagnosis of PCOS is confirmed and he wants to begin Provera and then Clomid immediately as in today. It's all moving a bit fast for me (until yesterday I didn't even know I had PCOS) and I would like to explore acupuncture. I know I can do both alongside one another but have heard that I can't do Chinese herbs while on clomid etc, so am considering holding off on drugs and seeking an acupuncturist. Any referrals to an acupuncturist around Mt Sinai area who also does Chinese herbs? Need to find one learned in infertility/PCOS ASAP!
(Or suggestions in general...I am overwhelmed! Lol)

I am not sure where you are located but Andy Kaplan in Rockville Centre is very liked on the infteritlity board.

Acupuncturist Referral TTC PCOS
I saw Sandoval once he was good and in Huntington. His hours just don't fit in my scheduled. Based on LIF recommendations I'll be going to DR. Yang- have my first appointment with her Saturday. I also have PCOS. I have been taking herbal supplements for around 2 months and just started a completely clean diet. I too am holding off on any medications

Thanks so much for the help! Rockville ctr is far for me, I'm in my Sinai near port Jefferson in the north shore in suffolk. Where is dr yang?
My RE told me he wouldn't waste any time and I'm feeling the pressure so am considering beginning Provera and clomid with iui and acupuncture without herbs simultaneously, so that if we don't get pregnant, I can introduce Chinese herbs when I have to take a clomid break after having already had some time doing acupuncture.
Open and grateful for any input whatsoever! And still very much interested in acupuncturists in suffolk, pref who do herbs. Thanks so very much!

Dr yang is in Hicksville I live in Suffolk too but it's around the block from work so I am going to go on my lunch. Saturday is my consultation so I wanted to ensure I had plenty of time. Well worth the trip

Think Acupuncture. I go to the one in Ronkonkoma. James Shinol is the practice owner and their focus is infertility.

Thank you! Ronkonkoma is still a drive from mt Sinai but is doable. Still having trouble finding someone who has been to an acupuncturist in my area for infertility...not migraines, or stress, etc. Just don't want to begin somewhere without a referral. Do you know if they do herbs? My girlfriend did acupuncture for 9 mos before conceiving with addition of herbs.

So do I , I really like him. Take a look at the Infertility board there was just a thread on this.
