question about atlantic city
Hey guys.....
I am trying to plan a weekend away for my husbands 40th and am considering Atlantic City. The problem is, it would be in Mid-November.
Do any of you ladies know how the night life is at that time of year?? We're looking to go for a Friday/Saturday night and will want to go out both nights if possible.
Is it completely dead in November???

Re: question about atlantic city
My experience it's Hit or miss around that time... But If there's any it's usually at borgata that time of year (or harrahs pool--- but that's a super clubby atmosphere )

question about atlantic city
My fam just went to AC. It is not the same as it used to be IMO. It's a step up from coney island at this point. Id go to Foxwoods or Mohegan SUn before going to AC for sure.

I second this. I would go with Mohegan Sun over Foxwood's as well

Re: question about atlantic city
I've stayed in AC a million times, my dad is a big gambler so he constantly gets over the top comps. We've been to borgata and harrahs recently and I found them both to be a little skanky and we were in fancy rooms. I was at Mohegan sun in May for business and it was much nicer IMO! It's huge and sometimes they have really good concerts, maybe you could get tickets for something good.

Re: question about atlantic city
Not sure about November. I was just there this past weekend and did not find it skeevy at all. I stayed at Borgata and it was nice as always. Also went to Tropicana and it was insanely busy and fun. Harrahs is also very hip.

Re: question about atlantic city
I was in AC last November on a Sunday night at Borgata - didn't seem skeevy at all to me (i've been there several times over the past few years)
No matter what time of year, its always fairly busy - even on a Sunday night in November, there were lines to get into the club, the bars were busy etc. All this was just in the Borgata.
Personally, i thought Foxwoods stunk compared to Borgata. Dated and drab looking, and they stop serving alcohol at 2 am! what's the point of a 24 hr casino with no alcohol. Would love to check out Mohegan Sun though
