Spotting during ovulation?
I am not TTC but thought this was a good place for advice! DH and I bd on the 13th which according to my pink pad is the 2nd day of my ovulation cycle...anyway, the past few days after from Sat-and even a bit today I have been spotting a when I wipe (pink, bright)...could it be ovulation spotting (which I Have never had) or did I tear something??? Nothing hurts or feels off. TIA

Yikes! I would not be ready for that!! I thought implantation bleeding occurs closer to when your period is due? Mine is not due until the 31st

Could be almost anything. It could be from an internal tear. But it's also perfect timing for an implantation bleed, too. Anything 6dpo and beyond.

Hmm... something is not adding up. You say you ovulated around the 13th but you're not due until 8/31? That's a very long luteal phase. When did your last period start?
Also, what do you mean by pink pad? Sorry, I just never heard the term before.
ETA: But if you did ovulate around 8/13, that's about the right time for implantation bleeding.

yea i was thinking the same thing. If you ovulated on the 13th, you would implant anywhere from 7-10 days after, which would be right around now. So, that could be implantation spotting

Are you on BC at all? Or use other form of protection?
It could be a tear or ovulation spotting. I have that all the time. 2 months ago my ovulation spotting lasted a week, not enough for a pad but needed a liner and when I wiped.

Gotcha!! Thanks! I used Period Tracker and Fertility Friend and they were absolute crap! lol! That's why I wound up tracking with ovulation tests.
And just to clarify, by "2nd day of my ovulation cycle" you mean 2 days after you ovulated? The wording and the dates are throwing me off and I don't want to freak anyone out unnecessarily!

SO according to the app, I am fertile between 8/12-8/18...most likely ovulating on the 17th?It is hard since I am not actually tracking ovulation except on the app I am using, so I guess I have no way of really knowing when I actually ovulated. I BD on the 13th and starting spotting 2 days later. IT has since stopped and AF is due in 6 days. It was probably a result of the BD lol, anyways, I will know if a few days I guess

there is a thing called ovulation bleeding which i get. I just asked my obgyn about this but she said it is common , not a big deal.
