birthday party time-help--

For my 7 year old DC

6:00 on a Friday night
or
11:30 on Sunday.

What time do you think is better?

I would prefer Friday night...I''m out of work by 5.I'm
just concerned with working parents.

Re: birthday party time-help

Is it 6 or 7 on Friday?
(Your survey at the top says 7 but here you say 6)

6 would be too early for me as a working mom- I work until 530 and I get home around 6 depending on traffic- we'd be very late

If it's 7 pm on a Friday, I like that better than Sunday at noon

yes I messed up.

it would be 6:00 for Friday
and the place said they can now do 11:30 on Sunday.

I really wanted 10 on Sunday but they can't do it.
That's what I was worried about it's a tough time for working parents. You don't think 7:00 is too late??

ETA: I don't know how to edit the poll??

6:30 on a Friday might work... Can that be an option? It's not too late, but gives enough time for parents who work - and no worries about what to do for dinner!

Re: birthday party time-help--

I would personally prefer Friday night. Our weekends are overrun with soccer this time of year. I have to decline most fall parties because of soccer.

That's why I chose Sunday....Soccer in our town is on Saturdays. But I hear you I would rather be invited to a Friday night party too just cause the weekends are crazy but just worried that at 6 it would be tough for others. These parties always stress me out lol
