Winter coats
Dd had a north face one. It was great. She didn't wear it in the car seat. I would put in on in the car when she was out of the seat and when we got to the car I would take it off before putting her in the seat. It was annoying but I woukdnt buckle her in with it. It would be way to bulky and the harness wouldn't fit right. You're not supposed to for safety reasons.

I love the children's place 3 in 1 jacket. My son would wear the fleece inner part in the car and the bulkier heavier jacket when we were outdoors.

Re: Winter coats
My son has both a North Face and a Ralph Lauren coat.
The RL has children's outlets in Deer Park and Riverhead.

Dd lived in the children's place favorite jacket last year. It's just a warm fleece but it did the job for running to and from the car. She also had an Oshkosh heavyweight jacket for playing outside.

Re: Winter coats
DD has a North Face Fleece, a super light weight North Face jacket, and the Children's Place 3 in 1.

Re: Winter coats
We just got the carters 4-in-1 one, same idea as childrens place.
Last year we had the lands end one, and I thought it was too bulky and rigid.

The boys have North Face winter coats. We have an assortment of the Denali, down and also the layered one.

Re: Winter coats
I used to swear by the Children's Place 3 in 1. But the last 2 years I have not bought it because they no longer had a detachable hood. I do not like having a hood on my kids at all times. They can't sit all the way back in their seats, and they just annoy me. I use hats instead.

Re: Winter coats
We had been buying the children's place 3 in 1 but the sizing didn't work too well last year for DD so we went with the gap warmest jacket and that worked great. We also have LL Bean fleeces.
