FTM question lol - infant carrier

im thinking ahead to halloween.

if the baby is born on it's due date (yeah right!) it'll be about 3.5 weeks by halloween.

i know it says right on it that it's safe for 7.5 pounds and up.. but you think im ok carrying a little one around for a little bit? i know it's face-in so it owuld be like im holding it anyway.

Depends on what carrier it is. The Ergo has an infant insert that you can use right away.

If it says 7.5 lbs so long as baby weighs more than that then it would be fine. My DD was born at almost 41w and at nearly 3 weeks is still under 7 lbs.

Funny, I just realized the weight restriction.
Both my other kids were larger at birth.
My current kid is under 7 pounds and was comfy in the bjjorn today for a short while.

I used the Moby and ergo when dd was about 5 pounds. You just need to be really careful that their head is supported in such a way that their chin is up and not down near their chest.

My guy was born over 7lbs but you may be able to use a wrap. I have the KTan. I think the wraps are more comfy for them when they are tiny.

I would do this at that age as well.
