Changing oil companies
We closed on our house last fall, and just continued with the same oil company the previous owners used. They are a small family company, the nicest people in the world, and VERY responsive to service calls, etc. As new homeowners, we felt comfortable with a company who "knew" our oil burner, etc.
Their prices are not as competitive as others. Is there reason to stay with the company you really like for oil, or is this an area where i should just be making price the #1 goal (obviously within reason - reputation/comfort still being a factor).

Changing oil companies
Good customer service is priceless--our oil company allowed us to run out of oil a few times despite being on auto refill--worse customer service ever--I am currently looking for a new company.

I always hear this but I have to say I have had way more problems with Meenan. I switch back and forth between the two and Meenan has given us so many problems. So I think it depends on your own individual experience.
