Giving birth at 37 weeks.......

let me just say that I was induced at 41 weeks with DD1 and had DD2 at 39 weeks...

now with this I just have a feeling I am going to go this week. I am 37w + 1 day.

I know that baby isn't really full term. I believe full term now is 39 but what can be some negatives of baby being born this week? Lungs haven't fully matured?

Anyone have any experiences that they can share? TIA!

My last two birth's were at 37 weeks to the day.

My daugher was 7.11 and completely healthy back in 2010
My DD was 7.6 and also completely healthy in 2015.

I was induced both those times

37 weeks is still considered full term. I had DD at 37w6d and they said anything in the 36w range is early, but they don't do anything extra for 37w +.

My first was born at 37.2 - she's now 2.5 years old
My second was born at 37w - he's 2.5m old

Both of my babies were born small 5.5lb and 5.3lb respectively. Both went home with me after my hospital stay. They were both born full term with no complications.

I cannot keep babies in for longer than that due to complications with their growth and my placenta. I wouldn't worry!

My twins were born at 36 weeks and weighed 5.12 and 4.11oz. They were perfect and didn't spend more than an hour in the NICU.

My water broke at 36 weeks and that's late pre term. They say over 37 isn't pre term. My dd was 6.3 and had no nicu time.

My daughter was born at 37 weeks. That is still considered full time. She was 6.8 and a peanut but had no issues and was healthy.
