Prenatal Massage
Hi ladies,
I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and would love to get a massage. I have wanted one since my son was born (back in 2013)....just never got around to it.
Any suggestions on places?

Prenatal Massage
I liked mine at the Red Door Spa (Bellmore location)... I got it at like 37 weeks or so with my first. I'm going to go again this time in my third trimester.

I got massages from the massage therapist at my chiropractor's office every other week. She had special pillows as my belly grew and played relaxing music. I loved it. The office is in Bellmore on Bedford Ave. pm me if you want more info.

They go much softer & avoid trigger points that may induce labor like between toes & at inner wrist.
I personally did not like my prenatal massages.

I had horrible heartburn during my pregnancy and spent the entire prenatal massage trying not to throw up.

Purity Spa in St. James. I had Amy who is actually certified in prenatals and she's a doula. She was not afraid to work on effected areas that many general masseuses are afraid to get into. She was awesome. I felt so much better when I left. I was walking so much better than I had been due to back/hip pain. She was very nice and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend going to her.
