centerpieces for baptism ideas
anyone have any ideas to share on centerpieces you had done for your LO's baptism (party)? Just want to get some ideas, I did balloons for my DS but was thinking of maybe doing something different for my DD. I am giving cake pops out as favors so I am not sure if I can incorporate those in somehow. TIA.

Re: centerpieces for baptism ideas
We did a glass vase with hydrangea flowers... white, very simple and classic, with an elegant silk ribbon around the vase. One on each small table, two on larger tables with tealight votive candles all around.
A quick shot of the CP:
They were inexpensive through our local florist and they even did free delivery that day to the restaurant.

Re: centerpieces for baptism ideas
Can you make clusters of the cake pops and then put them all together for the centerpiece and then each person gets a cluster to take home? Like a cake pop bouquet?

I did something similar. I actually cut them from my own bush since it was summer. Simple is best IMO.

Re: centerpieces for baptism ideas
I bought simple clear vases from the dollar store and bought flowers from costco the day before. Yellow, full roses. I cut them short so they wouldn't obscure anyones view. very simple and cheap and people were able to bring them home.

Re: centerpieces for baptism ideas
I put framed pictures of DS on the table as centerpieces. I couldn't see spending $$ on something that was going to be thrown away.

I did big white lanterns with those flameless battery candles inside. With rose petals around it. For my 2 oldest I just did hydrangeas

Tied balloons to stuffed animals. It was a big hit!

Re: centerpieces for baptism ideas
i made chocolate lollipops and put them in a jar with balloons above. the lollipops were also the favors, so everyone took one as they were leaving from the centerpiece.

Re: centerpieces for baptism ideas
I went to trader joes and bought potted orchids for 15 dollars each. They were all either white or green and I had someone at each table take them home. They were beautiful and people loved them. For a friends shower, we bought cheap square cases from Michaels and a couple of huge fresh flowers bundles fr Costco and those looked beautiful too! I also like the idea of mums

Re: centerpieces for baptism ideas
This is what I did for DS. I order the flowers at the supermarket florist in King Kullen, always do and they're so beautiful each time. This is the only pic I have (they were fuller but DH has some ridiculous family members who always like to take home flowers and pick through my centerpieces )

We did framed photos from a professional shoot that we ended up giving to grandparents and godparents.
