Seams in granite countertop?
I have to decide tonight which option I want out of ways to cut the granite and I am stressing about the seam. Is it really noticeable? Can anyone share a picture of their seam?

Ours is at our sink and done so it is not noticeable. In our other house it was done on a corner between two walls.

I dont have a picture on hand, but we had our seam done at the sink. Its cornered so you cant notice the seam behind the sink to the wall at all. The seam in front, you can really only see if you really stare at it. My granite is a billion different colors though, so the pattern really hides it nicely. I would think maybe if you had a more solid color granite, it may be more noticeable? But I think if you have an experienced granite installer, it should be fine. and they would definitely be able to suggest where they feel it would be the least inconspicuous.

We have no seam. We went to several places and they all said they need a seam (on a corner piece) except for the place we chose. Love that there is no seam. It will be less noticeable with the better installers.

We paid extra to have no seams, luckily the slab was big enough we could get away with no seams. If you can avoid them, do it.

im getting quartz, but the guy was just here today for the template and he told me the seam will be in the middle of the sink. he said after the faucet is in you won't notice it.

Ours in by the cooktop and there is very little to see. Maybe a 1/2 an inch but you cant see it. They suggested the sink and I know that's where it generally goes but I always worry about leaks. Once it is done right you cant see it. My aunts is by the sink and really noticeable.

Your contractor should know the max size of granite your cabinets can support (there IS a max - it's not like the "right" contractor can avoid a seam altogether if your kitchen is that big!). We have our seam at the sink and it is not noticeable at all. Your contractor should help to figure the placement of the seam as well.
