This is my second pregnancy. And just like my first, I am breaking out like CRAZY. I always hear how other women get amazing skin during pregnancy. NOT ME! The hormones wreak havoc on my skin. I'm broken out all over my face and now it's starting on my neck, chest and back. It's so gross, I feel like I'm 14 again except I am pregnant and have gray hairs Chat Icon

Like I said, this same exact thing happened to me last time around and my Dr said there's nothing I can do about it. I'm only 10w this time around. I just started trying a face wash that's called Belli and it's supposed to be safe for pregnant women. Anyone have any success with this or any other tricks? I wish this didn't bother me so much but I hate it. Chat Icon

I'm in the same boat. Had it bad with #1. Now with #2 its awful all over again. I thought GIRLS were supposed to steal your beauty. I'm having a boy this time around, so its not cool that I'm still not "radiant". Lmao.

I use the natural "Yes To" facewash brand. The tomato version is best for this. It hasn't cleared up my face entirely, but definitely tamed the madness! I ran out a month ago & was lazy about getting more (just used my regular stuff) and i noticed the immense breakouts right away. Got back on it & it helped tremendously.

Re: Acne

Yes love Belli!!!! I had horrible acne last pregnancy and am 8 weeks now and have been using Belli since I found out and it has made such a HUGE difference. I bought the duo kit and use both the acne wash and the spot treatment. My skin's not perfect but looks pretty good considering.

Thanks ladies! Sorry we're all experiencing this but at least we're not alone. And yes, EVERYONE guessed I was having a girl the first time around...partly because of my acne. Jerks lol. I have a 3 year old boy so that old wives tale wasn't true for me. I'll keep the "yes to" brand in mind in case the Belli stuff doesn't do the trick.

I have it too! I didn't have it with my first and she is a girl. I had a dream this baby was a boy, and I have different symptoms than I did with DD so it just keeps me thinking boy.

I had it very bad in the beginning and still once a month I breakout. I've been using H20 Plus Sea Moss Black Scrub from Ulta- it has made such a big difference for me.

Ugh! It is so frustrating to be a teacher and have to deal with pregnancy acne while my teenage students all have better skin than I do! Pregnant with my son...clear skin. Pregnant with a girl (we lost her at 27 wks)....horrible breakouts.

Currently pregnant with unknown gender and having clear weeks then breakouts. I went to my derm. for another issue and he prescribed me a topical antibiotic which has helped.
