Dealing with the loss
I am about five months post-miscarriage. I still get sad at times and think about the loss. I am thinking about it more now because my due date is coming up just after the holidays. We are still not pregnant again, so it is extra painful.
I was wondering if any of you ladies have done anything to memorialize your lost little ones? I keep feeling like I need to do something to memorialize the loss. I have looked at some pieces of jewelry on Etsy, but I don't know. Any thoughts or experiences you can share?

Re: Dealing with the loss
I'm so sorry for your loss. I went to Michaels and bought a wooden box, which I painted with a pretty pattern and wrote the dates of my miscarriages inside. I keep memories from those pregnancies (hospital bracelet, sonos, pregnancy tests, photos, etc) inside. It helped me feel good to have a place for it. I also light candles on pregnancy and infant loss awareness day (oct 15) every year and keep those candles on a shelf. I also have a wall photo collage with family photos, and I am pregnant in 2 of them (you wouldnt know looking at them but I know). Everyone grieves differently. If you ever want to chat, message me and I will give you my # and e-mail.

Re: Dealing with the loss
I bought an Alex and Ani bracelet with the May birthstone on it (which was when I was due). I felt like it was the perfect way to remember my baby without it being blatantly obvious to others.

Re: Dealing with the loss
Thank you. I like the box and the birthstone jewelry ideas.
