*Update* TMI: What does the "bloody show" resemble?
I'm 39 weeks and today i went to the bathroom and have pink spotting. Is this the bloody show you get when your cervix begins to soften before contractions and labor?
*Update* Baby girl came via emergency c-section on 11/28 instead of her due date of 12/2. Labor was not progressing, so 24 hours after i initially went in, they needed to get her out. All is well and she is very healthy. Both DH and I are enjoying her so much  Good luck and best wishes everyone!!

Mine was heavier than just spotting. Kind of like period for a little bit.

I had pink spotting right before I went into labor with both kids. One was a few hours before and my second was about 24 hours before.

What a great update!!
I also started experiencing some light spotting, but keep feeling afraid that I won't know WHEN to go in since I've never experienced labor before (with #1 I was induced).
Anyhow, congratulations, Mama!!!!
 The December babies have officially begun to arrive (some in November, it seems. haha).

Just wondering why you were induced before your due date?
I broke my water that day and while I was at the hospital my labor did not progress so after a certain time they can not wait any longer. Best decision though. They did see that my pelvis is small and c section would be best for me in the future. Also, baby had umbilical cord on her head which is another reason labor did not progress quickly.
