Sleepwalking
Anyone have a child that sleepwalks? My dd (7) has been sleepwalking for a few months. It seems to be increasing recently and she is up almost every night lately. It always seems to be soon after she goes to sleep. We usually try to gently guide her back to bed, but tonight I didn't hear her get up and found her asleep on the foot of my bed in the dark. Any advice? Do people usually grow out of this?

Sleepwalking
Yup my DS started at 18minths freaked his daycare teacher out. I talked to his dr about it. Said just to keep him save. We realized he does it when there is change going on. So now we just keep an eye out.

Re: Sleepwalking
I was a sleepwalker and sleeptalker as a child. I turned out fine! And there are plenty of funny stories to tell about it now.

Re: Sleepwalking
Yes, my daughter is 6.5 years old and has been doing it for a year now. It's scary for you and I but its normal (according to the Ped) and she should grow out of it.

Sleepwalking
yes my son was a sleep walker and climber - we would watch him climb out of his crib at 2 and wander the house all asleep it was crazy - he ended up having enlarged tonsils and it stopped after they were removed
