does this look brown, black, or gray?
I like the idea of gray or black nursery furniture, and I found this set at babies r us online that is advertised as "slate"... is it me, or does it look brown?

Crib mahogany, dresser dark grey. Must be the lighting.

yeah it must be, because they're part of the same set and should be the same color... I'll have to wait and see how it looks at the store

Bru has a nice set I was considering if I went the grey route. It's an ash grey, but a true grey.

Or million dollar baby has a nice set in dark grey. Crib looks similar style to the one you posted, but it truly looks grey.

yeah i saw that one too, but I want to go with more of a dark gray or black. I like the Avalon Baby Dallas collection as well. I plan to take a look at both

I think it looks grey. If it is called slate I would think it would be grey. Of course you'll know better when you see it in person. I hate that it's so hard to tell colors of stuff from pictures.

The crib looks brown but the dresser is clearly grey. I'm assuming they are from the same collection so it must be my eyes playing tricks on me. If it's slate, then it's a very dark grey.
