Kids bikes and safety equipment. Silly?
We are getting DD a bike for her bday and she wants a Palace Pets bike. Now my silly question. All the helmets and safety equipment nothing matches the bike - all they have are princesses or frozen. Do I get one of those or do I get a different bike with matching "accessories"?

My kids never really matched. Get her the bike she wants. Razor sells solid color helmets.

My DD helmet doesn't match her bike exactly. She chose a bike she loved and then picked out a Bell helmet, both have pink in them but aren't an exact match. I don't think it HAS to match, buy the bike you like more over the one that matches the helmet.

DD has a Hello Kitty Bike and a Sophia the First helmet. It really doesn't matter

It would drive me nuts if the helmet didn't match the bike, so I see what you're saying! Can you get a solid color helmet?

It doesn't really matter. DD needed a newhelmet before a new bike so they don't match. Never did. Don't drive yourself crazy ( and I like to match most things lol)

DD's helmet doesn't match her bike. I can't imagine having to coordinate her bike, scooter, skates and ride on's to a matching helmet! She's only just turned 4 so she doesn't really care about matching

Thanks everyone. It never dawned on me to look for solid color ones.
We planned on getting the bike for X-mas, but decided to hold off til her b-day in 2 weeks and I originally was going to get a frozen bike and all the matching stuff, but she saw the Palace Pets one and wants that instead. I guess the OCD in me wanted it all to match.

AJ's do match. Sort of.
She has a TMNT bike and a Mikey Helmet but they are different in design. However she also has pink frilly stuff on the handle bars and bright pink/green horn. LOL
It is therefore, uniquely hers.
