Rain boots- does anyone else have this issue?
For the life of me I have SO much trouble getting them off. Like I can't do it alone. I have to have DH stand there and yank them off my feet with all his might as I sit in a chair and hold on for dear life.
I haven't worn them to work yet because I don't really feel like asking a co-worker to throw out their back as they yank my boots off!
I feel like I need to spray my legs and feet with Pam or something!
Am I doing something wrong? Is it just me? Or maybe it's the boots? I'm stumped!

I have the same issue. With even single pair I've ever tried. I've actually physically injured myself getting them off - no joke I think I hurt a ligament in my hand a few weeks ago with the awkward pulling motion. I finally found a really cheap pair that's a little better - at least I can get them off at work without needing twelve people!

Re: Rain boots- does anyone else have this issue?
Yes, because my calves are big. I hate feeling so constricted. That's why I bought a pair of low rain boots by Tretorn. Easy to tuck my trousers into, but look silly with a skirt.

I had the same problem with my old pair. The ones I have now have a zipper.

Yes, I had to return the last pair of rain boots I got because of this.

Re: Rain boots- does anyone else have this issue?
See I don't think my calves are the issue. They feel fine and roomy when on. It's more like they are constructed from one piece, no zipper, etc- and it's like trying to get my foot and ankle around the bend of the foot part...the rubber is kind of stiff. It's so frustrating. I find it's easier with stockings or tights. When I wear them with boot socks- forget it. The tights seem to make my foot slide out easier.

I wear them so rarely bc of this exact problem. And forget it... at 9 months pregnant...I can't wear them AT ALL bc I would NEVER get them off.

Hahaha I have the same problem, DH always has to help me. I wonder if it's because I don't wear them much, so they aren't broken in?

Yup exactly. It doesn't matter what kind of socks I wear either, the same thing happens no matter what.

Re: Rain boots- does anyone else have this issue?
I have this problem with the tall Hunters. I have had it with other pairs of pull-on boots before. I always wondered if it was because my feel are kind of flat and wide and don't flex quite as much, but I really have no idea haha.

I don't have that issue with my current rain boots but that must be a huge annoyance!

Rain boots- does anyone else have this issue?
This thread is so funny. My rain boots I don't have this problem. But I he a pair of black leather coke haan boots and I dread wearing them bc of the injuries I've sustained taking them off.
