Rentable Long Island bars with dance floors
Anyone know of any bars/clubs with dance floors that would shut down to the public on a Saturday night for a private event?

Rentable Long Island bars with dance floors
Napper Tanddy's in Smithtown won't shut down but they have a private room. You still have to go to the public area for the dance floor. We had a 30th birthday party there 2 years ago on a Saturday.

Same here. I second Napper Tandy's.
They have the whole entire left side of the venue -- it's own separate room for parties. It is great. I had a party there.

Rentable Long Island bars with dance floors
Cafe Havana in Smithtown has a room downstairs with a bar and dance floor. Not sure if they rent it out/close it down for a party, but I was there in the Fall and the place was completely empty except for the group I was with, so maybe it would be worth it for them to rent it out for a party

I've been to Zachary's for a sweet 16 and I'm pretty sure it as a Saturday.

Agree, except that there is a dance floor in that room in front of the stage. Had my husband's retirement party there on a Saturday night. It was fabulous and we danced all night! The staff was great to work with.

Not sure when this is for but if it's summer time, the Beach Hut at Cedar Beach has a private area you can rent upstairs and they always have live bands playing with a dance floor.
