Big week coming up equals...
Trigger shot! Oh how I remember giving that to myself back in the day.
Looks like I might trigger on Monday and retrieval on Wednesday. And then I will hopefully have embies for genetic testing.
If all goes well I will follow with a FET thereafter.
Woohoo!!

Are you doing an hcg or lupron tigger?
I'm always in awe of the ladies who do their own intramuscular triggers/pio. It's so badass.

If I remember correctly the first time I did it I pricked my skin like 20 times before I did it right before the window closed!!!!
So five years later I'll be a freaked out ninny and do that again I'm sure! Ha!

i was told I didnt need to do the HCG intramuscularly..subcutaneous like all the others.
i did have a hard time mixing it b/c the bottles are so large and the needles werent long enough. I was going to ask the RE for advice and bring them the vials to show them.

You know... Interesting you say that. I remember abut shot from years ago. Not sure what my trigger medicine was.
On the box it does say subcu shot. I guess my RE will tell me which way I need to do it.

I've done the trigger in the stomach and in the arm with 2 different REs. Different REs tell you different things.

My trigger this time was subcutaneous as well. I did a combination HCG and Lupron. I was givem crinone instead of PIO too so I haven't had to do any IM shots so far.
