Pediatric GI
Any recommendations for a GI affiliated with the NSLIJ system?

Re: Pediatric GI
Not affliated with NSLIJ but if you are open to other recs, I took my DS to Dr. Guevarra at Good Sam Pediatrics in Babylon (same practice as Dr. Gold which also has recs). Such a nice man and patient with my DS.

Thanks, not using NSLIJ out of preference, we were seeing Dr Gold, but our new insurance doesn't cover Good Sam

Re: Pediatric GI
We use nslij Cohen's practice We see Dr. Webster. My son has a liver disease so he is followed closely by GI. shes done numerous endoscopies on him as well. We've seen just about everyone in the practice at one point or another at the hospital though. I've never had a bad experience with any of them. Some of my other favorites are Dr. Buzzi Dr. Sahn Dr. Bitton Dr. Markowitz

Both of my kids saw Dr Marciano, but he's affiliated with Winthrop.

Re: Pediatric GI
Thank you everyone.
My LO is still on Neocate, and tolerating almost no foods at 18 months - switching doctors sucks - but it's not like I had answers anyway so maybe it'll be a good things for us.

I second Dr. Sahn... maybe not the most effusive individual, but he listened to my concerns and gave us a solution to a very long and stressful issue with my DD.

Thanks. I've heard great things. Wish insurance didn't dictate who we have to see

Another vote for Dr. Sahn. We saw him up until my son was 7 months for help with his MSPI and modifying my diet to continue breast feeding successfully. I found him to be super supportive during a very stressful time
