So my 2/15 baby just got pushed up to 2/9...and possibly sooner!
DD1 was delivered 6 weeks early due to severe preeclampsia, so my OB has been taking serious precautions with me this time around. At 35 weeks, they were really concerned that I wouldn't be going too much longer. Well yesterday, at 37w 2d, I was told that after Friday I need to be on bedrest because my blood pressure once again is creeping up and the swelling in my legs is getting insane again. I managed to get work to agree to let me work from home next week (i.e. in bed with my laptop) so at least that won't be deducted from my leave. All along my OB and I have been discussing a VBAC - she said everything looks good to do so, but we had a csection scheduled for 2/18 in case baby girl doesn't come by then. Well yesterday that got pushed up to 2/9 because of my BP issues - so this little girl's eviction date just got pushed up a week!
Thank god I've been nesting like crazy the past few weeks - house is (semi) clean, baby's nursery is ready, DD's plans are taken care of, bills are paid, some prepared freezer meals are done, hospital bag packed, and wrapping up at work. The craziness of having a newborn with a 2 year old just got even closer!!!!

It's a good thing you were able to at least go this long! Rest up and have your DH do the rest of the cleaning!
