Anyone have a scheduled c/s but baby came sooner?
I apologize for asking all these questions.
I have my c/s scheduled for the day before my due date...I figure I will let the chips fall where they may, but was curious if anyone ended up in labor prior to their scheduled date.

Yep. I was scheduled 4 days before my due date. She came 12 days before the scheduled section, over 2 weeks early.

yup, i had a scheduled C-section but delivered 4 weeks early.. but that was expected .
i actually liked that i went earlier because i didn't have time to think , or be scared.

I had two scheduled c-sections with both kiddies and both came about 5 days early!
I was thrilled bec they chose their birthday and not the other way around (I was having issues with that with Baby #1)

DD came a mth early. I had a high fever and had to have an em c/s due to low amniotic fluid.

DS came before his scheduled c/s. He was a breech baby and my original c/s date was also scheduled for the day before my due date. He came 4 days early. My water broke at home and I had an emergency c/s as he was still breech. I made it all the way to 10 cm/fully effaced in transition with no drugs and had the c/s. Fun times.

My Dr. schedules c-sections 1 week prior to the due date...
My DD decided to put me into labor in the wee hours of the morning the night before I was scheduled to report to the hospital for the c-section ...Water broke and all 
My c-section happened a couple of hours earlier than planned (same date/different time)

Yes. I was scheduled for 5 days before my due date (wed). I wanted to schedule it on Mon because of the 8/9/10 date but they had no availability in the calendar. My water broke 11pm Sunday night. Emergency c/s performed 3:23 Monday morning...8/9/10
My water broke exactly 1 week before my due date with both of my boys.

My c-section is scheduled for 1 week prior to my EDD.
My OB has already told me he has no expectation f me making it that far since I am pregnant with twins. I have no idea what would make them come early (pre term labor, size, etc) but am eager for that day to come.

DS #2 came 11 days early, 3 days prior to my scheduled C. I was told that I needed the C due to previous pregnnacy and complications, but (luckily) my Dr. wasn't there and I had a VBAC. :)

Me!! I was scheduled for February 23rd for my c-section, but this little man had other plans and I ended up going into labor on the 18th and he was born that night.
After a failed induction with DD and a c-section, I was kinda proud of my body for going into labor on its own this time even if the result was still a c-section. Lol.

I was due 10.28.10 scheduled c section for 11/3/10 and went into labor on 10.31.10 at 11pm c section at 3:11am on 11.1.10

yes, my water broke the night before my scheduled C/S , so I ended up getting a C/S on the morning of the scheduled c/s instead of the afternoon- 2am instead of 2pm

YES!
AJ was due on the 8th of September, scheduled for the 2nd of September
She was born Aug 22nd
Water started to leak around 1am that morning. She was born at 9:55am.
(She was scheduled because she was breech)

Yup but I don't think my situation is common. My C-section was scheduled for September 7th (due date was 9/12). I was always concerned I would not make the date & actually wanted my OB to do it the end of August but I ended up in labor on July 24th & DS was born in the am. He was 8 weeks early

My C for DD #2 was scheduled 1 week before my due date, my water broke a week before that. Dd was 2 weeks early.
My water broke at 37w 3d with DD#1.

yup due date was 7/30
scheduled C date was 7/22
went into labor on 7/12 about 2am, waited till about 11 before i went to the hospital, she was born at 3:52pm

Yes- exactly 2 weeks before my scheduled c-section date.
Everything happened so fast. Labor hit in the middle of the night. Doctor did the c-section at 7:30 that morning.
He was healthy and beautiful- and picked his own birthday!
