Tips for managing MS?
I never had MS this bad with DC1. From when I get out of bed until I get in bed, I'm nauseous. I constantly feel like I'm 0.1 second away from throwing up. The smell of ANYTHING makes me gag. I can't take my prenatals (I'm gonna get the gummies) because swallowing the pill makes me throw up. I can eat very plain carbs in small doses, and I can drink cold drinks if I sip them.
I'm only 6 weeks, and I imagine this will only get worse. Any tips for managing MS?
Thanks!

Tips for managing MS?
I'm 16.5 weeks with my 1st and STILL sick when i first wake up in the morning , and I learned pretty quickly that absolutely nothing helps except medication lol
Ask the dr for the dissolvable zofran tablets- they're a lifesaver

Re: Tips for managing MS?
I tried everything from seasickness bands to ginger candies and everything in between.
The only things that really helped were carbs- all day, everyday. I was useless until I had my bagel each morning then I'd snack on pretzels and crackers all day long to keep my stomach full. Dinner was toast or maybe a PB & J sandwich. Room temperature ginger ale sipped through a straw seemed to help, too. If I was between snacks and felt sick, I chewed gum since a lot of times I found I had a bad taste in my mouth or smell in my nose and that would just make me feel even more sick.
I'm so sorry you're not feeling well- it's awful when it feels like there's nothing you can do. I lost weight during those first few weeks from not eating. Hang in there and don't hesitate to talk to your doctor if it gets really bad.

Tips for managing MS?
I had it pretty bad with my first 2 but this time around it was way way worse. I tried everything, and it seemed that everyday that what I thought had maybe helped the day before no longer worked the next day! Very frustrating. I ate a lot of oranges which definitely made me feel better in the moment. Also gum would take the horrible taste out of my mouth for a while as well. Taking it easy seemed to help as well, as soon as I exerted myself I would instantly feel horrible.

Re: Tips for managing MS?
Nausea and vomiting was all new for me too.. had none of it with my first, and with this pregnancy, I can't think of a week where I didn't bring up food. From week 6 to week 17 it was pure survival. Whatever I thought I could keep down, I would eat. Evenings literally broke me into tears, because I would be famished, and I would eat, and then everything would come up with a vengeance.
Seltzer with cranberry, or lemonade worked. Also at night, I sipped on tepid water, cold water was the worst for me at night. Also 1/2 a banana, or some ice cream, or chocolate milk kept the post vomiting heartburn at bay and soothed stomach.

Sea bands, sour candy (sour ice breakers and sour patch kids to be specific), a fan constantly blowing in my face.
