Recommend your BM neutral paint color
We're finishing our basement and I need to look at paint colors soon. I want something light and airy, I like a lot of light. I know gray and greige are in but I'm trying to stay away from those only because the basement has been gray slab for years and if I paint it gray I feel like it will just bum me out  And we will have an accent wall, so any recs for that are welcome too. Thanks!

Neutral, as in beige?
I have bar harbor beige
My sister has either shaker beige or Lenox tan
My mom had something called antique linen

I'm doing Patriotic White in my living room. We are painting it now, so I'll post a pic when it's done. It's a lightly tinted blue, almost white.

If you want light and airy I wouldn't use any of the beige/taupe colors mentioned above. These are beautiful neutral colors but I wouldnt say they are light and airy at all.
I would go for more of a cream/yellow. Windham creme, rich cream, philidelipia creme, hemplewhite ivory.

I have used Putnam Ivory, Shaker beige, Antique lace, hot spring stones and Muslin.
I have muslin in my master now & I really like it.
My new favorite color that's not really a neutral but acts like one is BM Quiet Moments. Its a fav of Joanna Gaines and its beautiful. I used it in a flip house last summer (pics in album) and its so beautiful I'm planing on using it again. I don't think you would need an accent wall with this color.

My current paint obsessions are BM Edgecomb Gray (light ariy beige) and BM Quiet Moments (blue, gray, greenish)/ LOVE!

We just painted our entire house and I will say BM Smoke is an amazing color! I painted our master that color and loved it so much I painted it in our great room. My second favorite color we did was mt. Ranieir gray really pretty blue gray.

If you're looking for something light and airy with a little brightness to it, try BM Opalesence or Harbor Haze. They are very light blue/greens with a light of light in them. They're not technically neutral but really can be paired with anything!
For a true neutral that's not greige, BM Linen White is classic. It's off white with just enough yellow to keep it creamy and bright and would work well with most accent wall colors you'd choose.

BM Glass Slipper. It's a nice, light blue with a gray undertone.
My finished basement/playroom is SW Something Blue. It's bright and fun, but not really neutral.

same - love it, in well lit areas it is more beige than gray, in darker areas, more gray...looks beautiful with white trim

Edgecomb Gray is in a large portion of our main living area, love it. Just painted a room Revere Pewter, love this color as well.
