Cinderellas Royal Table question
We are going to Disney the last week of June. We have dinner reservations at cinderellas castle one night. I have a 5 yr old DD and 2 year old DS. Do all little girls wear Cinderella dresses? I just don't want to pack one, it's going to be so hot and I know she will want to change out of it right after. I was thinking of dressing her in a nice light blue sun dress and do her hair cute with some type of embellished headband. Will she be the only little girl not in a princess dress? Same for BOG. I was going to do the same but with a yellow sundress. Should I just suck it up and buy the actual costumes?

Re: Cinderellas Royal Table question
We went and my DD didn't have on a costume. It didn't feel weird or anything like that!

Cinderellas Royal Table question
Totally not necessary!! We've been a few times and she's worn shorts, pants, and a princess dress. Your idea sounds great!

You can do either. We have been there 3 times and each time my DD wore a princess gown.

Cinderellas Royal Table question
Every time we went to CRT almost every little girl was in a princess dress. ANd we went in August.. it was a 'big deal' for my DD so it was the only one she wore a dress to. We put it on over her clothes and she took it off after. This time (going in April) we are doing BBB before so she will be all dressed up again.

I would get a princess dress, but a comfortable one. One on Etsy

A lot of the little girls are dressed up at CRT, but not at BOG. I don't think she would be out of place without one though.

Cinderellas Royal Table question
Not all the girls are dressed that way. My DD had an appt at BBB so her hair was done and she was wearing her Cinderella dress. It doesn't matter at all.

Re: Cinderellas Royal Table question
We went in August and it was over 100 degrees...the only girls in costumes were those that had been at bippidy boppity boutique. Even a lot of those had abandoned the costumes.

Cinderellas Royal Table question
We are going the same week and doing dinner at cinderellas castle. I'm getting my daughter a princess dress to wear only because it'll be her first and probably only Disney experience for quite sometime. I don't think the costume is necessary though! I'm wondering, do the boys wear anything? Prince costumes or anything?

Re: Cinderellas Royal Table question
Whenever we went to Akershus or CRT we fond 70-90% of the girls had princess dresses f some kind. While not every child will be it s part of the experience. I would bring a dress, you can shove it in a bag and change into it right before, and right back out of it later if it is hot. BOG I have not done dinner, but friends say they do not dress for there unless they are not doing be of the two princess meals.

Re: Cinderellas Royal Table question
During/after dinner at BOG you meet the Beast and take photos. Most kids are not in costume, but the pics do come out really sweet if wearing a dress/costume. He danced around with my daughter; really cute experience.

Re: Cinderellas Royal Table question
My girls love wearing their dresses in the parks and I try to have the dress match the park.
Sofia at HS
Cinderella in MK
I would have the dress with you. I find my older DD enjoys wearing it the whole time. I always bring a dress and a change of clothes into the parks. I also agree with a PP the pictures come out really cute when they are in costume. I also feel like if you are dressed you might be more likely to be selected to do something special like dance with a character.

My DD never wants to wear one around the park. I see more girls without than with to be honest.
