Update from PGS testing
Got the news that my three Frozen embies are healthy! No chromosome abnormalities.
Tomorrow is my retrieval for my second cycle. Hoping these will be better quality than my frozen embies which were rated CC. Fingers crossed.
And might I just say I have lost brain cells? I posted about my retrieval on the TTC board. Ummmm.... How on earth did I do that??

Re: Update from PGS testing
That's wonderful news!
I'm currently trying to decide if I want to do a second IVF cycle before sending my embies out for PGS.
I currently have seven 3-day frosties and I'm not sure if I should roll the dice and have them tested or if I should add soldiers beforehand.
Do you mind if I ask how many of yours made it from day 3 to day 5 for testing?

Re: Update from PGS testing
Jelly bear.,.,
I had 12 follies. I can't remember how many were mature.I think I had 7 embryos. They wanted mine to go to 5 before testing. 3 made it to day 5.
I was supposed to have them batched with this current cycle and sent to PGS together.. Long story short it ended up not being done that way. Any new embryos I have will be sent out for testing. My fee for now covers up to 8 embryos. So we shall how many I get this cycle and what I decide to do.

Update from PGS testing
That's good news!OP- They say it's best to let embryos to grow to Day 5 before testing, which means you have to do a FET

Yes, mine will also be tested on day 5 (they will be thawed and grown to day 5 prior to testing). I just can't decide if I should do another round of IVF first to better my odds of having at least one embie come back normal. I definitely don't want to pay for genetic testing twice!
That's so awesome that all three of yours came back normal!!
