Those that color hair due to grey, do you do it yourself of go to salon?

Do you go to salon or do it yourself? I need it done every four weeks. I usually go to salon but it is getting pricey. If you do it at home, what do you use?

I usually get it done at the salon twice a year and then just touch up at home when I need it. I use Root Touch Up. I do find that my color lasts much longer when I get it done at the salon though.

I do it myself, and use whichever brand is on sale.

I do it myself, either Loreal or Nice N' Easy. It is too pricey and too much for me to go to the salon for something like that.

I did it myself for years...but I'm finally at a point where I want to be spoiled and treated like a lady...tired of doing my hair in my bathroom. I went this weekend for cut color and blow and felt like a million bucks...much better than when i do it at home - worrying about getting the dye all over the place.

obviously so much cheaper at home, but there's something about being pampered that makes the $$ worth it.

I used to do it myself, but I finally found a salon & stylist I'm very happy with for my color, cuts and keratin...so now I see her every 4 weeks for at least my coloring (single process with some brushed on highlights).

Salon for single process. I don't have the patience to do it myself.

I do full head of hair every 5 weeks myself. Comes out great!

I get single process done every 4-5 weeks in salon

I've done both. I usually use professional color when I do it at home but I've used drugstore color also. I would only do single process at home.

I do it myself. Right now I'm using Loreal Excellence Crème and it works great.

I colored my own hair for a long time and when I did, I used Wella from Sally's Beauty Supply.

I go to the salonfor partial foils and color and in between salon visits I use Root Touch up. you can start seeing my gray 3 weeks after salon visit , i can't afford to go to the salon that often.
