Anyone else's MS start to decrease at 8 weeks?
Having a little paranoid moment here. With DS I had horrible all day sickness that lasted from 5 weeks all the way into my 2nd trimester. I was on Zofran starting at 6 weeks and I remember it helping but not taking it away.
This pregnancy started out the same way. I started getting all day sickness at a little over 5 weeks and it just kept getting worse and worse. I went on Zofran at 7 weeks and it was again helping but not fully taking the nausea away.
Fast forward to this weekend (just under 8 weeks) and I started noticing my MS wasn't nearly as bad. Still taking the Zofran but not needing it exactly every 6 hours. Sometimes I feel like I could even go without it. Sunday felt a little less. Monday felt even a little less. And today I woke up really feeling fine for the most part. It's making me very nervous. I have an OB appointment tomorrow for my 8 week check up. I'm not sure if he'll check for the heartbeat with the Doppler or not, but I'm getting nervous that maybe I'm losing this one. Did anyone else have terrible MS that suddenly seemed to get better at 8 weeks?

I'd try and stay relaxed. Every pregnancy is different. Your body could very well just be handling this one differently.

Don't judge it by the MS. I have friends who never had any MS, no nausea, nothing, and went on to have healthy babies. My 2 pregnancies were very different with MS. With my first it started to get better around 8w and was gone by 10w. With this one, it stuck around until close to 14w. And with both I would have a day or 2 with no nausea and panic. And no sooner did I panic than it would come back with a vengeance lol. Easier said than done but try not to worry.

I never had MS with my first. With this one, I had MS from about 5.6-9.5 weeks, and then it pretty much stopped. At 11 weeks I still get a bit nauseous, but nothing like I did during those 4 weeks. Baby is perfectly fine.

Mine was very day to day but I do remember feeling better around 8 weeks which completely freaked me out. As my doctor confirmed, it will come and go so try to relax. Easier said than done, I know!

Yes! This will be my first baby but I know plenty of people that had morning sickness for one pregnancy and the other they had only a little or none. Every pregnancy is different.

Since you have an appointment tomorrow your doctor should do at least a doppler check. If the heartbeat doesn't sound right I'm sure he'll do a u/s.
Most of the information I have read states that morning sickness is at its worst between 6-9 weeks, but everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. Try not to compare your pregnancies. One of my girlfriends was throwing up for 20 weeks with her first and didn't get sick at all with her second.

I'm hoping he does the Doppler tomorrow.
I've read the same thing about MS peaking at 6 - 9 weeks. I remember with DS it was at its worst during that time frame too.
I think if this pregnancy I hadn't gotten MS at all I wouldn't be worried - like you said, some pregnancies are different. But since I had it REALLY bad right away, my concern is that it seems to be decreasing at 8 weeks when in fact it really should be getting worse

You are reading in to everything that is happening to you. I understand that you are nervous, but you need to try and relax a little bit. Every pregnancy is different. With my first, I would never have known I was PG except for the positive pregnancy test - not even a smidgen of morning sickness. With this pregnancy, I was nauseous from weeks 6-12 and literally as soon as I hit 12 weeks, I felt a ton better.
Your doctor will most likely do an internal sonogram so that they can see & hear the heartbeat and confirm everything is where it should be and you are right on track.

I didn't have a single second of nausea with my second pregnancy. Every pregnancy is different.

I never had MS... I joke and say that I don't know what that is lol... I don't think you should worry. As long as your levels are rising like they should you are fine. Though I didn't have MS I had terrible exhaustion and for me that peaked at around 9 weeks... Not sure if the two normally coincide with each other but figured I'd share anyway! 30 weeks today and he's perfect! =)
