Cost of PGD
I will be doing IVF #2 at Long Island IVF and I'm considering doing the PGD testing... Does anyone know the cost? I am waiting for a call back tomorrow but figured maybe I would get a better answer here.
Also, I'm scared that after doing it, I won't have any embryos left, as for IVF #1, I had two embryos and transferred one, and did not take... Does anyone have stories they can share?

It's around $8,000 from what I recall, unless it has gone up since 3 years ago.
If you only produced 2 embryos, your best bet would be to do a few cycles and bank embryos until you have more to send away for testing.

Thanks for Responding! I was not expecting that much! I thought I saw in a LIIVF blog that it was no more than 3,000... I knew that was too good to be true.
I'm hoping IVF #2 gives me more embryos, the protocol has been tweaked!

Should be $4000 max.

I paid $5000 for pgd and $1000 for pgs. For up to 8 embryos I believe

I had it done last year, it was around $5500. Depending on how my embryos your'e testing. Anymore than 8 embies the cost goes up per embryo. PS i did with LIIVF as well.

Oh ha whoops! Yes the others are right, it's not as high as I said-- we just had lots of embryos one of those times, so inflated cost.
