How about the fact that the union wears Red in honor of an employee who was intentionally run down by a manager? SO when you want to accuse these employees of being ridiculous just remember this.
Oh but I thought one person acting this way shouldn't be a reflection of all in the group? At least that's what I was told when I pointed out the tasteless acts of some picketers...
Murder is a little different than yelling at people, but I wasnt saying that we should blame all managers. My point was that its not one sided, managers are not innocent either.
On another note all managers that worked in this office were shipped to Virginia this week. So who ever is working here currently isnt the regular workers. Theyre shipped in from other locations.

Re: Verizon Strike
Basically anyone but you is wrong.. SO no matter what is said you will have an issue with it.. You are better than us all.. I bow down to you. Enjoy your weekend, as mine is filled with worry and fear.
There isn't any point during this thread where I state that anyone is wrong, nor do I ever say that I am better than anyone. Those are your words.
You and I disagree on the contents of the video. You think it's fine, I don't. It's ok that we disagree; we are looking at this from different perspectives and we are both worried about our families.
I am aware of the significance of the red shirts, worn in remembrance of a Union worker who died in 1989 after being hit by a car driven by an 18 year old who was working that summer during the strike.
The managers working in the Nassau location are from other areas of Long Island, as well as other areas of the country. In some cases, managers have been involuntarily assigned to work far from home, leaving their families and regular work assignments for an undetermined amount of time.
The longer this goes on, the greater the chance that nerves will fray and tempers will flare. I am very, very afraid of someone getting hurt. I have said it many times... this can't end quickly enough.
