NY & Co rewards

Are they good about it if they expire? I hate that I have $10 that literally JUST expired on the 24th. When I went there I didn't see anything I liked and planned to go back, but DS got a stomach virus for a couple of days.

I hate that they give you such a short time to use it from when you get it. Ugh!

Thanks!

Re: NY & Co rewards

I dont know about NY & Co, but my experience with The Childrens Place Rewards is almost laugable.

So they run this promo where if you spend a certain amount in the store & online, you get Place Cash. Each certificate = $10 off a $20 purchase at a specified later date. Pretty good deal - Especially for me since I earned four certificates, which equates to $40 off of an $80 purchase. (Basically 50% off my purchase) Sweet right?

I had to buy my son a few things for Spring, so I waited until I was able to use my Place cash.

Coincidentally, TCP started a huge sale running during the SAME EXACT TIME my Place Cash certificates were valid. What was the sale? 50% off of everything in the store. EVERYTHING. Here's the catch: The sale COULD NOT be combined with Place Cash. So basically, the Place Cash I earned was worthless since I was able to get a better deal just by walking in the store, plus I could get everything I wanted 1/2 off opposed to only 1/2 off an $80 purchase.

Laughable.

Be careful with these reward programs. There is always a fine line that you have to read & most of the time cannot be combined with other offers.

It's pretty much the same deal at NY& CO! The only coupons you can always use are the ones that come on your CC statement, I think they call it the NY& CO Rewards.

Ughh..I havent tried. probably depends on who you get at the register.

they run sales online but then you cant use any of the coupons they mail you (other than rewards certificate b/c that is like cash), during the sales.

Victorias secret now has so many restrictions on their angel certificates and coupons. Cant be used on items ending in .99, certain sales, etc. I used to be able to stack like 2 or 3 rewards. i guess they caught on Chat Icon

I have a bunch of city cash that I just got and im not sure if I will be able to use them since they are having 30% off on the site Chat Icon

on another note does anyone find the cut of their clothes so odd now? My entire wardrobe used to be NY & co now everything just fits odd to me. I used to wear a small in their shirts and now the mediums run very small (and Im no bigger)..Im wearing a pair of pants today that I can pull off without unbuttoning but they are so uncomfortable..maybe its just me!

I find the whole store terrible, minus accessories. Everything is cut and styled oddly. I have never gotten the hype with this store. Everything LOOKS cute until you see it up close or try it on.

ITA, which is why the rewards expired. I went in there not too long ago and couldn't find anything. The shirts don't wash so well either. I do like their Soho skinny jeans. Not the jeggings one, but they look awful on me.

YEs!! I've bought pants that are different colors but the same cut and they all fit differently from one pair to the next;

their M size sweater that I ordered is tight. I ordered a small and med in different colors and the small I have to return. and Im skinny and wear a size 6. WTF??

I dont buy their jeans. mainly their work pants and tops.

but lately I dont like much from there.

I feel the same way. I think a lot has to do with the material. Tons of Acrylic & Polyester blends.

Their stuff used to run SO big. Like vanity sizing at it's best. I would be able to wear an XS in tops.
Now, it's all over the place.
And the quality suckss. And it's not cheap either.
