Disney World....where to begin???
So we are planning a full family trip with our inlaws (11 people total, 6 adults, 5 kids) and I have no idea where we should begin. We are looking to do 4 days in various parks but need suggestions on which parks would be the best. The kids are 7 y/o boy, 6 y/o boy, 4 y/o boy and two 2 y/o girls....
TIA

Re: Disney World....where to begin???
If you haven't already, figure out your dates. Then look into hotels. I really like staying on property for the extra benefits, but with that many people an off property house rental might make sense.
As for park days I personally would do 2 days at MK, 1 at AK, and then one at either Epcot or HS depending on which seems more interesting to your group.
Check the disney website for show/attraction lists and then check out disboards.com for answers to pretty much any question you have.
Good luck!

Exactly this. Everything I was going to say.

Re: Disney World....where to begin???
I agree with the PP except that I think that if you are going in the summer (after 2 major rides at Epcot reopen) you should do 2 days at MK, 1 at EPCOT, and 1 at AK or HS based on the interests of your kids.
I think Epcot has a lot to offer every age - you just have to look a little harder than at say MK. My kids loved the Agent P interactive scavenger hunt there. It's totally free and helps you get a little more out of the countries. For the little ones there is a stop in every country with a craft. Also EPCOT has two gentler boat rides that everyone can go on.
I did like AK but you do have to like animals to appreciate it and there actually are a few high intensity rides there that the very little ones will either not be able to do or might not want to do.

with those ages make sure you can get to Hollywood studios early one morning. Jedi training was a favorites on my boys 4.5 and 6.5 - signups are first thing in the morning and people get there early but totally worth it.

Re: Disney World....where to begin???
Have you ordered Disney's free planning DVD? That might be a good place to start so you can get the basics down.
After that I would utilize a crowd calendar site (such as easywdw.com) to decide which parks you will do each day. I always use this and it hasn't let me down yet.
If all else fails and you feel overwhelmed you can use a Disney travel agent. They will even do your dining reservations and Fastpass picks. I've never used one but I know a lot of people use them, especially if they are newbies.
