Self Tanner Recommendations
It can be instant or the ones that gradually get you darker.
Im PALE like PALE PALE... LOL
I dont want to be orange. I dont want to smell like tanning lotion.
I want something for body and face. Like mostly my arms, neck, face and chest.
I use sally hansen on my legs when a dress is warranted but I have a party coming up and I need something for the areas mentioned which are white as paper. LOL

Self Tanner Recommendations
I just bought St. Tropez last week and I really like it! It's a foam and it's not orange-y at all. I've never used a self tanner before so I read a ton of reviews and finally decided to try St. Tropez. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it in my opinion.

I've always used St. Tropez and LOVED it! Used for my wedding and others. Would highly recommend.
I also bought Loving Tan a couple weeks ago and have heard great things about it but I haven't tried it yet

I love the Quick Tan spray. They have it in bed bath and beyond now too. Its tinted so you can see where you sprayed it and where you missed. Gives you color right away and then lasts.

Quick Tan
Does it look streaky or speckly at all when it's done? Do you have to rub it in or just spray?

Just spray - dont touch it! No streaks or speckles. I do it in the shower stall so the mess doesnt get all over. Dries quickly - I usually dress within 5 minutes of application.

Self Tanner Recommendations
I forgot the name of htem, but they're the tanning towlettes from the beauty supply store. They are so much better than creams and they won't make your skin look orange.

my go to is still the Jergans. I use the darker one even though I am pale. I only use it this time of year, other than that I accept the fact I am white or its summer and I am already tan.

Re: Self Tanner Recommendations
And after all this, I have to say, the only time I get a decent fake tan is when I pay $50 for a spray tan! I can't reach my back, my shoulders, etc. It always ends up looking messy and takes a ton of time.

Re: Self Tanner Recommendations
Ok I just used body drench recommended by pinky. It's awesome!! It actually smells good!! Like a light vanilla. Color shows up right away. Won't lie it's a tad streaky but it's cause I think I've never applied it before. A few more practices I think It will be perfect.
Thank you for the recommendation!!!!

I agree. For me, it's worth the price to get a good spray tan. I just got one last night and it looks totally natural, no streaks or speckly spots. If you can get past being naked in front of a stranger who is often young, thin, and tan, it's awesome.

LOL! I had a girl that I loved. I felt so comfy with her- she wasn't in totally great shape so there was that and she was like so cool and non judgemental. She moved to Florida. I was so upset. I finally bit the bullet and booked someone else i found online She came over to spray me last month before a trip and she was almost exactly the same as my old girl! I felt totally comfortabe with her. I was soooo happy! LOL

Re: Self Tanner Recommendations
One Hour Tan
Life changing. Don't be scared by how dark it is - it will guide your application. Smells incredible and doesn't give self tanner smell even when it dries down. I have been getting nonstop compliments since I used it on Monday. Here are my steps:
Shave and exfoliate (get a really good coarse exfoliant)
Apply body lotion to knees and elbows.
Apply One Hour Tan with gloves (IT WILL STAIN BAD IF YOU DON'T) and rub in long, even strokes. At ankles and toes I use a makeup sponge and use a dab and blend motion.
After about 15 minutes I felt dry enough to put on loose yoga pants and a tank. Went to bed an hour or so later and didn't streak or stain. Woke up an amazing bronzey gold color and while there are a few spots that were blotchy it was super easy to fix.

How do you hit your mid back etc? I have areas that I have problems reaching myself.
