Diaper sizes - how long for Newborn and size 1's?
I'm just curious as I cant remember from DS. How long would you say your LO was in Newborn size diapers and then how long were they in size 1's for?

Nb I think was 2 weeks and 1s I think it was 2 months but I could be wrong as it was 3 years ago.

Diaper sizes - how long for Newborn and size 1's?
We never used nb size with none of my DSs, only size 1. They were just a bit big but it was fine cause I just folded the front part. If I don't bad remember we used size 1 for approx 2 months.

I honestly think it depends on the kid, DS was 8.2 when he was born but was long and skinny so he was in newborns for at least 1 month. Size 1 he was in for a few months.

My daughter was in NB for like 6 or 8 weeks and then 1s for a while after that. She's always been petite. She just turned 2 and is in size 4s now.

Diaper sizes - how long for Newborn and size 1's?
My first was in nb for a month, maybe 6 weeks. Size 1 til maybe 3-4 months?
My second we just skipped newborns bc I already had size 1's around. She was in them til about 2 months old.

Diaper sizes - how long for Newborn and size 1's?
My son was born 8.5lbs. He was in newborn for 2 weeks, size 1 for about a month. I could have gotten away with starting with size 1 but we had gotten newborn at my shower so we used them first.

DS was born at 7lbs 14 oz and DD was 7 lbs 4oz. Both wore newborn diapers for about a month. Size 1 I would say another 1-2 months. Then DD was in size 2 until 10 months old!

She was born at 6.12 and she was in newborns for about 6 weeks and size 2 until about 5 months.

DD just grew out of NB diapers at 8 weeks. They say they go up to 14 lbs but she's 10 lbs 6 oz and they are just too tight.
ETA: She was 6 lbs 8 oz at birth.

we never used newborn size diapers...both of my kids went right to size 1.
The hospital even uses size one insteaf of newborn (except for the nicu) - at least this is what the nurse told me when I delivered 3 years ago...

We ended up with over 1000 size 1 diapers when DD was born and 1 big box of newborn. We went through the newborn diapers pretty quickly and then went straight to the size 1. We just folded over the top until her belly button healed.
She probably could have continued to fit into NB for a bit longer, but she was fine in the size 1s.

Diaper sizes - how long for Newborn and size 1's?
My kids were both out of nb by 2 weeks, and were wearing size 2 by 2 months. I think it really depends on the individual baby's weight though.

My guy skipped NB and is 3 months just finishing up all the size 1 diapers in the house. They're too small and I bought size 3 and skipping size 2 since I had a couple of those and they were pretty similar to size 1.
