Anyone doing Weight Watchers?
How's everyone doing? I'm down a bit more, 22.2. I have a lot to lose, so while that seems like a lot its really not.

Re: Anyone doing Weight Watchers?
i joined WW mid april. this will be my 3rd time on it. the first two times was to loose weight after having kids this time its because i ate to much and am grossly overweight
the first two times i lost over 40-50 lbs each time. hoping to do it again and not gain it all back.
i have to say i really dont like the new plan. i hate that food l really liked are now more points on this plan rather then the old plan. i am doing online only since i dont need the meetings just the tools.
today was weigh in and i have lost a total of 22lbs; this includes a gain from being on vacations for two weeks at then end of may!
still have tons more to go. i would love to loose at least another 20lbs by October for the wedding i am in.
hoping i can keep most of it off this time. i hate to diet and i love food but i am going to make an effort to watch what i am eating after i am off it!

WW has been very successful for me in the past. After the birth of my first child, I lost 52 points in 8 months! Kept it off for three years... got pregnant with my second who is now 9 months old and need to lose 30 pounds. I HATE the new program... I am starving.. I cant even eat cereal for breakfast without wasting like 6-8 points.. It's ridiculous.. I'm going to try and stick with it but it's so discouraging. I get that they want you to eat better... but I feel like there is no room for anything that isnt lean protein or vegetables..

yes my cereal went from 4 to 6 points and i think its because of the FF milk. also the same with oatmeal i use to eat apply cinnamon and its now more points without even using milk!! these 2 are more go to quick breakfast at work. so i have been sucking it up and sticking with the cereal.
i hate that even their ice cream is more points. i love my ice cream. that candy i use to love eating is double the points and now to me not worth it. even the FF creamy dressing i loved has been doubled!
i got use to it but still ***** about it i do like chicken is less points now because i live on chicken!

Anyone doing Weight Watchers?
Starting WW today! I used the program about 7 years ago to get rid of the baby weight and was successful. I like the structure of the program.

Anyone doing Weight Watchers?
The new plan increased some points, but made fruits and vegetables zero in an effort to motivate people to eat healthier. So instead of a cookie for 4 pts, or a cup of grapes for the same, you will choose the grapes over the cookie. I often eat a banana and a light & fit greek yogurt for breakfast, so 2 pts total. Or I will have light toast with some PB2 on it for 3 pts. I also make egg whites in the microwave at work.
I have lost 26 lbs since April. This past week (4th of July week) was my first gain since being back on. I was a little devastated but it got me back to being more strict. Hoping to take it off this week.

Before they made this change fruit was still free! That's why I like the program before they did this one fruit and vegetables were free but the other things I enjoyed were less points and the planes worked for me then too.

Exactly... I get they want you to eat better... but i dont like being forced to not be able to eat a sweet once in a while.. ice cream etc is like ridiculous points!!!

I don't. I have a really bad metabolism and a thyroid problem and (since I've done weight watchers before) I know that I won't lose if I do. But everyone is different. I know people who use them every week and still lose.

Re: Anyone doing Weight Watchers?
I joined the online program again. Tracked for 2 weeks and then when my routine got off track and I ate anything and everything I knew I was so over my points that I didn't bother tracking.
I really need to maintain and/or lose a few pounds. I know it's not a lot but my clothes are getting right and I'm 40 now and a little less active, and less than 5 feet tall so those pounds can creep up easily
I hate that I only have 30 points per day. I don't use the fitness points. Also I can't eat eggs so as PP mentioned I hate that my cereal is so high in points.
My ideal would be to workout more and just eat clean 90% of the time but I love food that isn't clean too much! Plus it's been difficult for me to get my home workouts in lately.

Anyone doing Weight Watchers?
it's been 3 weeks and i've only lost 1 lb. This weekend was a bad weekend. I did great all week but Friday, Saturday, and Sunday was tough. Lots of parties and didnt track. Weighed my self and gained 4 lbs. Praying this is just water retention because I wasn't drinking my water and had some chinese which has a lot of salt. Not very motivating

Hang in there . Sometimes I notice I have a gain on Monday but then by Thursday it becomes a loss - I tend to eat like poop on Sunday so I'm note sure if it's water retention or what. I was just replying mostly to encourage you to still track! Even if it's 60 points! LOL. I always end up eating less of crap if I know I'm going to track it.

Thank you! You're so right about tracking. If you see it you do think 2x next time you reach for crap!
