Multi family vacations
We have done a couple of trips and rented a house in the Outerbanks with 5 or so families, friends are looking to add more families to the mix and now there are A LOT of kids involved since the last time we did this!
Anyone have any other ideas besides outerbanks but similar?
Thanks!

Why do you not want to go to Outerbanks?

Re: Multi family vacations
We really hate the drive. And to drive all that way and pay a fortune for a house for the amount of people we have and still have to cook and clean, it just loses the feel of being on vacation.

Multi family vacations
I think the easiest vacation ever is an all-inclusive in the DR, Mexico, or any other beach area. Every family gets their own room and whoever wants to meet up for activities can do so, whoever wants to sit by the pool can do that, etc. You can just agree to meet for dinner. It's all inclusive so no worrying about who had a steak and 10 martinis and who only had a salad and a coke!

OR do a cruise together. No cooking or cleaning

Many large houses for rent in Lake George. Lots to do and much shorter drive.

Re: Multi family vacations
A cruise!!!!! We did two cruises with family (about 25-30 of us) and it was a BLAST!!!!! There was tons of things for everyone's interests so nobody was forced to do the same thing and it was just so much fun running all over the ship together. GREAT vacation and super relaxing!

I strongly suggest Bethany Beach Delaware. You can rent in nearby Ocean View to save, but we went and LOVED!
