Apparently Alexis decided toward the end of life (after Kaitlin Jenner transitioned) that he/she was gender fluid and wanted to be able to be male sometimes and female sometimes.
Sad that Alexis died so young! I wonder what happened. I heard that (s)he was sick for a while, but not sure what the sickness was.

This is so sad. I just read that david arquette revealed on twitter that s(he) passed peacefully with friends and family at his side. I wonder if he was ill, they aren't really saying much. RIP

I found it odd that in the brothers statement he kept calling her HIM. Something along the lines of "he went from he to her to him to her back to him". I wonder if she/he ever regretted the full transformation.

Yes. But in Patricia's statement, she referred to Alexis as SHE. Maybe it's the siblings' or that brother's issue? I thought Alexis preferred she, so that is what you would go by. It's up to the individual how they want to be referenced.
In any case, may Alexis RIP.
