Are these coats warm?
Can anyone speak to whether the children's place 3-in-1 jackets and/or their puffer jackets are warm (warm enough to be an all-around winter coat, including playing in the snow)? Any comparison (warmth-wise) to carters system jackets?
Thanks!

Are these coats warm?
Obviously I can only go by the opinion of my 4-yr old, but she was content in TCP 3-in-1 last year while playing in the snow and out on the playground!

I love the osh kosh heavyweight 4 in 1. Really warm and well made. Definitely warm enough to spend lots of time out in the snow.

Re: Are these coats warm?
The Lands End Squall is very warm if you are looking for another option. It's thin too

Re: Are these coats warm?
We had the squall 2 years ago, and it was just a little too stiff.

Are these coats warm?
We buy Children's place 3-in-1 and snow bib every year. I think they're warm. A few years ago, they were different and had a rating on them - warm down to a certain temperature and DD would sweat every time we put her in it. I think the last 2 years weren't as warm, but DD seemed comfortable in the snow. Last year, we had a squall and children's place. For some reason, DD hated the squall jacket (not 3-in-1) but I put her in the squall more because it was thinner and I didn't feel like I needed to remove it for the car seat.

Re: Are these coats warm?
My 6 year old says it is the warmest coat he ever wore. Spent hours outside in the last few snow storms we had...
