IVF Success with Elevated FSH!
Good morning,
I was hoping to get some information from your experiences. I had two FSH tests done both on the 2-3day of menstrual cycle. The first came back at 12.9 the second test at 9. Did any of you have an elevated FSH level at the time of IVF? If so, what was your number and age at the time? Was your IVF successful? How Many IVF cycles did it take to reach success? TIA

1st IVF (technically my second round but I never made it to retrieval with my first due to poor response) =
FSH 9.8
AMH .76
I was 37
Result is my DD
2nd IVF resulted in a chemical pregnancy
3rd IVF=
FSH = 9
AMH = .22
I was 39
Result is my DS

I'm pretty sure those levels are a little high, but still considered in normal range.

I don't think those levels are considered very high. My FSH was 12 once and they mentioned it was a little high but weren't really concerned. Mine really varies. I wouldn't worry too much with those numbers.

IVF Success with Elevated FSH!
I'm 35 and my FSH was between 11-12.
My first IVF cycle they retrieved 10 eggs, but only 2 made it to day 5. We did PGS testing and both were abnormal.
My second IVF cycle they tweaked my protocol and got 13 eggs. 4 made it to day 5 and 2 came back normal from PGS. I transferred 1 and I'm now 14 weeks pregnant.

I agree with the previous posters. I don't think those levels are that high. I wouldn't worry too much.
