DH has a small business and uses an accountant. Suddenly, his accountant wants to start charging him to reconcile in checking account in Quickbooks. He wants $300 per moth! This is addition to the $250 monthly fee we already pay. Is this normal?

That's crazy! I reconcile our QuickBooks myself and then hand it over quarterly to our accountant to prepare the quaterlys and whatever else. It is extremely easy to reconcile the checking account!
