Does anyone have this plan? I have been getting so many lab bills for all the blood work and screening that needs(ed) to be done. I thought any normal testing was covered 100%? I need to call them
Just got a lab bill for $86. Paid 3 other $20 bills and a $40. Not sure if this is normal. With DD I had a different ins plan but didnt pay a penny out of pocket for anything.

I paid $20 for any ultra sound and that was about it. Maybe blood work also had a copay. I don't remember paying for anything else. Never paid a dime for either delivery or any of dd's nicu stay.

I'm pretty sure I did. I always have a copay whenever a lab is used, like blood work for physicals, DD's allergy testing, etc.

I had copays for sonograms, and also lab bills that came. Also be wary of getting any genetic testing like panorama, etc. they do not cover that anymore. (even if you are 35)

We have a high deductible insurance plan - DH's employer is "encouraging" it by charging through the roof for more comprehensive coverage - so no copays at dr office (which i find weird) but bloodwork and sonograms "not covered". So far we have been billed about $700 total for bloodwork and other expenses. Haven't received sono bills yet but have had two and I'Ve heard they are $250 a pop. Still beats paying $1300 every month for health insurance. We did anticipate medical bills but it still stinks to get them. Wish there was a better way with health insurance in this country.
How does panorama testing work? What week do you receive it and is it bloodwork? Thanks
