Amazon Prime Purchase
what are the odds that I can get a shirt I really want by Sat, when the only estimated delivery date with my Prime accounts says by Monday?
I really really like this shirt but I would need it by Sat - not Monday.
Should i even bother trying and opt for the 2 day shipping or forget it?

Can you do the prime 1 day shipping for the extra few dollars? That might get it there by Saturday unless it says something about extra processing time.

when I signed on to my Prime account the only shipping option is the 2 day...I don't see the 1 day. Though the details say 1 day is available. I don't see it as an option when I check out though

There should be a "change shipping option" section on the initial checkout screen.

This. If they don't give you the option, I wouldn't chance it. Amazon Prime seems to be pretty on point with their delivery estimates.

I would think low since today is Thursday and under regular circumstances, a Prime order would be there on Saturday if you ordered today. I have found them to be accurate in their estimates as well.

I ordered on a Friday last week and it came on Sunday

that's what I would think but it's saying Monday. I am going to order anyway and see.

Prime has been pretty accurate with the delivery dates. Part of it is based on location; when I place an order and ship it to Manhattan, it shows the delivery date a day sooner than if I ship it to my house on LI.
I would say if you have no other options, may as well order it. its free returns so you have nothing to lose if it doesnt come early. but if you can pick it up elsewhere at a local retailer, you may want to go that route

I ended up cancelling the order.

Not everything seems to be 2 days anymore. I wanted to order something with Prime on Tuesday - estimated Monday delivery and if I did one day it would have come Friday. Then last week I ordered something on Wed supposed to get Friday never came until Monday with Prime!

I think it has to do with the vendors. Sometimes it's guaranteed two-day delivery, but there's a day or two processing time by the vendor. It sucks, I try to always go by the estimated delivery date. So far they've always been right.

so I changed the address to my sister's house in Queens and expected delivery is now tomorrow (1 day option)..with my address 1 day shipping was not even an option. So I did it that way!
